An unused notification screen for Rhythm Shiryō-Shitsu exists, titled R-IQ (Nyūka) ((R-IQ (にゅうか)^?, R-IQ (Arrival)) in the Sequence Test. Selecting it causes the game to show that a letter has arrived, with the background depicting a library. The player can choose "Yes" to read the letter immediately, or "No" to return to the previous menu.
