Koe Machine (こえマシン?, Voice Machine) is the collective name given to the scene used by three of the Rhythm Toys by the Sequence Test. It consists of the following versions in Rhythm Tengoku:

Early Builds

The voice clips used in Kokuhaku Machine were originally performed by a "designer girl" who is also known to have voiced Space Dance and a first draft for The Bon Odori[1]. Due to this, Masami Yone made requests he wouldn't have otherwise to get the correct voicework, such as "Speak more embarrassedly!" and "Act like you haven't seen him in a while!"[2] Based off of internal data, this may be Sachiko Ikeo[3]. Kokuhaku Machine's name was derived from the Morning Musume song LOVE Machine, which was intended to be used as the music, but was cut due to copyright issues[4].

Neko Machine has unused text graphics, which was likely used in development as a guide for how the toy should work.

Rap Machine has an early version of the controller hidden in the background graphics, which shows an simpler separated design.

Miscellaneous

The second track used by the demo is an extended version of a jingle from an unused Drum Lesson-esque sequence[5].
