Philip
Philip (オモナガ?, Omonaga) is one of Tibby's friends and a resident of Heaven World, encountered in Planet Land in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Story
Philip is one of Tibby's friends, and is encountered in Planet Land. Sometime after Tibby fell down to Earth World, Philip heard a spooky voice, and the skies turned gloomy, making it too dark to see, and so Philip and his friends are unable to play baseball[1]. When the player and Tibby reach Planet Land and hear Philip's story, they help him by clearing the Rhythm Games found there. In the process, they make things bright and shiny, making it possible to see Mamarin Palace in the distance. Upon clearing all the games, the skies clear up and Philip can get back to playing. He unlocks the door to The Fourth Gate in exchange for the All Clear[2].
Philip appears as one of the collectable Mascots, and is seen in Gameplay Counts, blowing bubbles with his friends. He enjoys playing baseball with his friends, including Tibby[3]. Philip considers himself the MVP of his team[4]. He is known to make chili[5], and he claims he's good at other things[6]. Presumably, he is going to become a palace when he grows up[7].
Philip also appears in Rhythm Tengoku The Best Plus Comic. In 28テビリとオモナガ (Tibby and Philip), Tibby meets with Philip, who tells him that he started learning ballroom dancing. He mentions the classroom is on the fourth floor of the Songbird Tower, how the teacher's neck twists around when things go well, and how his arms start stretching. He mentions how the teacher's neck stretches if he messes up, and that he sometimes wears a bird beak. Tibby reluctantly moves away. In 31テビリとイヨカン (Tibby and Betty), Betty comes to Tibby to complain about her friends being mean, in Philip's case that he stood her up on her date. Tibby comments on each occurance, saying Philip is always busy with baseball practice, but also secretly worried about the "date" part. In 33レスラーとファン (Wrestler and Fans), Philip appears alongside his friends for the Wrestler Fan Photo Session.

Trivia
- While most details remain consistent across languages, some get changed. For example, in Rhythm Tengoku: The Best+ and Rhythm Sesang: The Best+, Philip offers to treat Tibby to takoyaki as opposed to chili[8]. In the French version of Rhythm Paradise Megamix, he instead offers katsudon[9], while the German and Italian versions don't specify what he intends to cook. In the Spanish version, he instead says he'll greet Tibby in his best clothes as opposed to cooking something[10].
- Ironically, he seems to only wear a bandana.
