The wizard has two extra frames for his spell-casting animation which go unused, as the animation resets to idle before they can play. There is an animation of a trail of magic, similar to what the wizard is seen casting in the prologue. There is an animation of a flower blooming without any light effects around it. There is an unused animation of the head of a flower, spinning. There is also a sprite of a tiny version of the purple monster's head, meant to appear on Ojō-chan's head like the flowers.
Rhythm Tengoku (Arcade) contains several more unused sprites:
- An acorn, both on its own, and with a monster's face on it, colored yellow. It's possible the unused spinning flower head would've bloomed on top of this acorn.
- A frame of an unbloomed flower with a poof effect over it.
- Frames of a flower blooming with a monster's head. This is different from the used miss animation in which the monster grows next to the flower and eats it.
- An up arrow styled like the Ⓐ sprite used in the Practice.
Miscellaneous
The sound effects used in this game are internally labeled "s_witch_candy", "s_witch_furu", "s_witch_cake" and "s_witch_donats", suggesting the game originally had a candy/sweets theme rather than flowers.
