Revision as of 16:56, 20 June 2015
Rhythm Heaven: The Best + is the fourth game in the Rhythm Heaven franchise. It released on June 11th, 2015 in Japan, and has yet to be announced for an international release.
This game includes 70 minigames from the previous three Rhythm Heaven games, and 30 new minigames.
Story Mode
In the single player Story mode of the game, the player helps a character named Teribi get back to The Kingdom of Heaven 天の国 (Ten no Kuni, a pun on 天国 tengoku?) by completing various rhythm games. On his way, he meets various characters, such as Bunbun and Puruta, who guide him through their various lands; as well as the gatekeeper trio, Iemon, Burukku, and Redoron.
Challenge Land
Challenge Land is a new feature in The Best +. Here, the player may board the Challenge Train, where the player must beat a series of minigames, usually with modified rules and tempo. Additionally, if the Perfect Campaign is up, it can be challenged here.
List of minigames that will appear
Majority of the games appear in Story Mode, where they are grouped into places of four: one Rhythm Tengoku game, one Rhythm Heaven game, one Rhythm Heaven Fever game, and one new game.
NOTE: If the game is marked with (Story), this means that this is a variant of the original minigame, with a new song and considerably easier challenge. Games that are titled with "Return of" are the original variants of the song. Is it marked like this to avoid confusion, as some minigames, like the entirety of Donut Land, are their original variants.
