This game's scene only has two valid versions, 00 and 01, but attempting to load version 02 in [[Rap Women]] (which would otherwise only create a black screen) creates a rather bizzare appearance, as it displays itself with whatever graphics were already loaded. The provided image shows its appearance if this version is applied over [[Rap Women]] and accessed through the Game Select: The background remains from the prologue, and the sprite tiles remain from the prologue and Game Select. If the proper graphics for [[Rap Men]] or [[Rap Women]] were to be loaded, it is made clearer that the animations do not match their intended use, often "reversing the roles" of the two rappers. Unused Content
There is an unused sprite of what may be intended to be a shocked eye for the yellow rapper. The blue-haired rapper has this same sprite as well.
There is a unused version of Rap Women which can be accessed through Sequence Test. The used version is listed as Rap Women (by YONE) (ラップ ウィメン(by YONE)?, Rap Women (by YONE)) while the unused version is Rap Women (by KAZU) (ラップ ウィメン(by KAZU)?, Rap Women (by KAZU))[1]. This version contains several raps on even beats.
The "(by YONE)" version is most likely made by Masami Yone, one of the game's composers. The "(by KAZU)" version is likely made by Kazuyoshi Osawa, the game's chief director and one of the designers.
This game's scene only has two valid versions, 00 and 01, but attempting to load version 02 in Rap Women (which would otherwise only create a black screen) creates a rather bizzare appearance, as it displays itself with whatever graphics were already loaded. The provided image shows its appearance if this version is applied over Rap Women and accessed through the Game Select: The background remains from the prologue, and the sprite tiles remain from the prologue and Game Select. If the proper graphics for Rap Men or Rap Women were to be loaded, it is made clearer that the animations do not match their intended use, often "reversing the roles" of the two rappers. This happens due to the animations being read one index off from where they are intended to be, as version 02 is out of bounds (for example, the red rapper recoiling from a successful input instead plays the smoke effect animation, which is stored right after it)[2]. The player-controller rapper does not use any voice clips, and attempting to play certain voice clips may cause the music to cut out.
