Thrilling! Is this love? (ドキッ ! こういうのが恋なの？?, Doki! Kou Iu no ga Koi na no?) (also written as Thrilling! Is This Love? in Lyrics Card 1) is the song used in Fan Club and Fan Club 2 in Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Megamix. The song was written and composed by Tsunku♂, the 1cho Ver (One-Chorus Version?) (used in Fan Club) arranged by Yuichi Takahashi and the Arrange Version (used in Fan Club 2 in Rhythm Heaven) arranged by Koichi Yuasa, performed by Eri~na from Canary CLUB in Japanese, Lorea Ferris Dandoy in English, Jessy Roussel in French, Mai Hahne in German, Costanza Rufo in Italian, Vanessa Cebrian in Spanish and an unknown singer[1][2] in Korean.
The song (specifically the Fan Club 2 arrangement) was performed live on May 9, 2009 at Shibuya O-WEST by Eri~na. A recording of this performance was included as a bonus track on Rhythm Tengoku Gold Kokunai-ban Kaigai-ban Zen Vocal-shu, which was released on July 29, 2009 in Japan. The original Fan Club 2 arrangement of the song was released as part of Canary CLUB's album ② Eejanaika (②エエジャナイカ?, ②Eejanaika) on August 26, 2009 in Japan. It was also performed live by NICE GIRL PROJECT! during their 2008 Natsu Emotional Live ~Miracle Sexy Dynamite~ and 2009 Summer Live ~Nice Vacation!~ tours, as well as by Canary CLUB in their 2008 Autumn Shibuya de Kira Kirara tour.
The song was later performed live in Rhythm Tengoku: The Uta Matsuri+, once to show the new singer Ari~sa (this version being used for Fan Club in the game) and a second time to show the Shin Arrange Version (新アレンジバージョン?, New Arrange Version), arranged by Kaoru Okubo[3], which was used in Fan Club 2 in Rhythm Heaven Megamix. While Ari~sa's performance replaced the original in Japanese, the other languages kept their original recordings. The New Arrange Version was also edited in a lower key outside of the Japanese version to match the original arrangement. Ari~sa also sung over the Fan Club 2 arrangement of this song from Rhythm Heaven at TOUCH FES in June 16, 2019.
A version of the song, arranged by Shuto Sugita, was uploaded on the Tsunku♂ Entertainment Channel on June 10, 2023, known as the ChuniEiga Project Idol bu Ver (中2映画プロジェクト・アイドル部 Ver?, Junior High School 2nd Year Movie Project - Idol Club Ver). It, along with an instrumental, are also part of the digital releases of Tonarino Class no Aitsu[4].
An arranged chiptune instrumental, shortened down to approx. 7 seconds, would be used for the practice of Fan Club and Fan Club 2 in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
