Gameplay

This game is about the Tiny Ghosts, who are rocking out at a late-night show on a table. The player is Boo-boo, the white ghost, who must strum in sync with Ecto, the green ghost next to him. The player is supposed to strum and jump in sync with the ghost next to it. Spooky drums in the back. The player must listen to the count, so the two ghosts can strum at the same time. There are 8 songs in total, known as "Big Rock Finish A" to "Big Rock Finish H", played in a pseudo-random order.

Trivia

  • The crowd consists of ghosts of many different kinds, one of which is a Sneaky Spirit.
  • The songs "Big Rock Finish B" through "Big Rock Finish G" are played in random order from a selection of a few set orders, but "Big Rock Finish A" is always first, and "Big Rock Finish H" is always last.
  • The music in Remix 7 is an extended version of "Big Rock Finish A".
  • While strumming, a voice going "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah, yeah!" is heard. In Rhythm Paradise, this voice is dubbed in the French, German, Italian and Spanish versions. The English version is used in all versions of Rhythm Paradise Megamix, though the count's various dubs are retained.
  • The prologue has a different design across regions. The original design was used in all regions in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, however.

  • This game contains the fastest song in the franchise, with "Big Rock Finish C" having a BPM of 290.
  • A glitch can be performed in Rhythm Heaven Megamix by playing the game, and then pausing and quiting the game during any song. This cause the timing window to be larger than usual while playing any other game, and can be canceled by playing Big Rock Finish again and getting to the end, or by resetting the game entirely. Although every song alters the timing window, "Big Rock Finish C" has the largest, and most noticeable increase. Built to Scale is the only other game to alter the timing window, and therefore allow this glitch to be performed.
