|つんく♂ このゲームの試作品が上がってきたとき、僕が曲をつくるときにイメージしたのとはまったく違うタイミングでシャッターを押すようなゲームだったんです。巷にあふれている音楽ゲームって、画面を見ながらでないと遊べないものばかりでしょう。でも僕は、リズムをしっかりおさえさえすれば、画面を見なくても遊べるようなリズムゲームをつくりたかったんです。だから、クルマがシュンと走って、カシャッとシャッターを切るタイミングが、音のアクセントに合ってといなかったので、これはちょっと許されへんなあと。そこで米さんたちが打ち合わせで来てくれたときに、きつく言おうと思ったら、すっかり疲労困儀していて…。納期も迫っていたし、あんまり寒てへんのやなあ…つて。「許しちゃおうかな?」「でも、そうしたらお蔵入りになるのかな?」と葛藤しつつ、やんわりと自分の考えを伝えたんですね。そのあと、最終確認するためにいろんなゲームをチェックする機会があって、隅っこのほうに調整された「カメラマン」がさりげなく入れてあったんです。しかも僕の理想どおりに! 任天堂のチームはやるなあって(笑)。
