Quicknibble (Gulper in Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise) is a fish that appears in the game Catch of the Day in Rhythm Heaven Fever and Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Physical Appearances
Quicknibbles are small orange fish. They have white lips and red cheeks. They have fins on the top and bottom of their bodies and small tails.
Story
Angling Profiles, obtained after getting a perfect on Catch of the Day, is written by Ann Glerr. In it, she talks about the best methods of catching fish. In the Quicknibble's description, she says it's an adorable little orange fish that has no sense of self-preservation. She says that they're small fries that like to taste your bait twice before biting it. At that point, she describes, you can just yank it out of the water.
The Quicknibble has a cameo appearance in Love Rap in a fish tank, and also appears attached to a string in Kitties!.

Purposes
Naturally, appearing in a fishing game, Ann Glerr and the fish test the player's patience. The fish will make various cues to the rhythm, and the player must press A at the right time.
In Kitties!, the pink Quicknibble serve the same purpose. They force the player to wait until just the right moment to press A.

- The Threefish's cue was slightly changed in the international versions, to a more universal-sounding onomatopoeia than its original Japanese version.
- Ann Glerr appears to own a cat, as seen in the OK epilogue for Catch of the Day.
- Ann does not appear in Remix 5; instead, she was replaced with a caveman.
