Smiling Coin (アイドル?, Nikoni Koin) is a coin tossed by a lady in Coin Toss in Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Story
The Smiling Coin is one of a set of special coins that have smiling faces on both sides[1]. They appear to be sentient and capable of speaking. One coin was commemorated by storing it in a box, which it prefers to getting spent or flipped around[2].
In the Endless Game Coin Toss, a woman is seen tossing one such coin, with the goal of catching it on the way down, as many times as she can. This woman also seen in Final Remix, where she is seated in a chair as a man tosses a wedding ring to her, which she must catch in the same way as the coin.
