The Smiling Coin (にこにコイン?, Nikoni Koin) is a coin tossed by a woman in Coin Toss in Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

Story

The Smiling Coin is one of a set of special coins that have smiling faces on both sides[1], which ironically makes them rather unhelpful for playing heads or tails[2]. They appear to be sentient and capable of speaking. One coin was commemorated by storing it in a box, which it prefers to getting spent or flipped around[3].

In the Endless Game Coin Toss, a woman is seen tossing one such coin, with the goal of catching it on the way down, as many times as she can. This woman is also seen in Final Remix, where she is seated in a chair as a man tosses a wedding ring to her, which she must catch in the same way as the coin.
