The Lumbercats (マキネコ?, Makineko) are cats that appear in LumBEARjack in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

Physical Appearance

The Lumbercats are tall, tan cats with white tank tops and differently colored pants. They have pointy ears on the tops of their heads, six whiskers, and wide eyes. They have long arms and standard cat mouths.

Backstory

The Lumbercats request the help of Woodcutter Bear to chop their wood for them. The cats wear their tank tops all year, which is why they need to use so much firewood. The Lumbercats seem to have an attraction to the Woodcutter Bear.

The Lumbercats provide wood for the Woodcutter Bear to chop. They also give the Woodcutter Bear cans, baseball bats, brooms, and a refrigerator to top it all off. In Final Remix, they make the Woodcutter Bear chop a giant peach with a child Lumbercat inside.

A lone Lumbercat appears in the comic Vocalization Practice[1], who sees a Chorus Kid practice singing, while three Lumbercats appear in the comic Turf War[2][3]. Here, The Kitties try to get the Lumbercats to leave their turf, who instead simply stare back at them. The Lumbercats analize all the Kitties' features, such as their lack of whiskers and clothes, different ears, and fingers. This causes the Kitties to run off in fear, while the Lumbercats think about how cute they are when they run. A group of Lumbercats appears in the comic Wrestler and Fans[4] as well, where they are seen taking a picture with the Wrestler.
