The Drum Lessons (ドラムレッスン?, Doramu Ressun) can be found at the Omaku Corner after clearing Remix 1 in Rhythm Tengoku. There are 19 different lessons hosted by Samurai Drummer, which can be unlocked with Medals.

Gameplay

The player, represented by Anata, must copy Samurai Drummer's patterns, who plays as long as the player remains idle. The player needs to copy the patterns four times in a row successfully to "LEVELUP" and move on to the next part of the lesson. Messing up after the "LEVELUP" meter has progressed will cause it to roll back and the Samurai Drummer to shrug.

On the top of the screen is a timing indicator, which will flash green, yellow, or red depending on the timing of each drum hit. Pressing the Start button activates "SLOW" mode so the player can more easily analyze the patterns, but they cannot "LEVELUP".

After completing a lesson, the player receives a rank based on how they did. The highest rankis an S rank, which requires 95 points or higher.

The player can quit out of the lessons with the Select button at any time.
