Rhythm Heaven Silver is an unofficial English translation of the original Rhythm Tengoku, so people who could not understand Japanese could play the game easier. The project was started in 2012 and was restarted in 2019. It is downloadable here or here.

Translated Names

Some minigames were given new names rather than being directly translated. When Rhythm Heaven Megamix was released, most of the games were given different names, which newer versions of Silver have since adopted. This list includes the names from before this as well.

Notes

¹ This game was renamed in Beta-13a to it's official name as of Rhythm Heaven Megamix.

² Despite being renamed in Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the latest version of Silver still uses it's own name.

³ This name was only seen on the menu in older versions, as the prologue always showed "Spaceball". It however can still be seen in the Studio.

⁴ Although not technically an incorrect translation, internal filenames indicate that "Dr. Virus" is the intended translation.

⁵ Also named "Tram & Poline" in the Studio.

⁶ Renamed to match the minigames which were visually inspired by it, however the gameplay has nothing in common.

⁷ Although named such on the menu and the Studio, the prologue still reads "Bon Dance".

⁸ The prologue also reads "Ninja Reincarnate", unlike the original where only "Ninja" is displayed.

⁹ Presumably renamed because "Mannequin Factory" wouldn't fit on screen in the menu.

Trivia

  • The translation's title is an inverse of Rhythm Heaven's Japanese title, Rhythm Tengoku Gold.
  • The most popular version of this translation is Beta 10a, as it is the one found on most download sites.
  • This game can be purchased unofficially as a physical cartridge on sites like eBay.
  • After the release of Beta 10a, a Korean fan by the username "WindowsTiger" also started a Korean translation.[1]
  • The lead translator, W hat, dislikes almost all of the official names.[2]
