Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Classics, formerly titled Game Boy Advance - Nintendo Switch Online, is an application released for the Nintendo Switch allowing players to play a selection of Game Boy Advance games. The application features online multiplayer in games which support multiple players.
The application was announced during the Nintendo Direct which aired on February 8, 2023, and was added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service later the same day.
The app's version 3.0.0 update changed the app's subtitle from "Nintendo Switch Online" to "Nintendo Classics." It also added button remapping, updated the "Reproduce classic feel" screen filter, and changed the app's startup splash screen to use the sound effect of a coin from Super Mario Advance, rather than the Game Boy Advance's startup logo, to match with the other Nintendo Classics apps.The Game Boy Advance's original startup screen can be seen by holding any direction on the left stick upon start up. On the Nintendo Switch 2, games run at a resolution of 1080p in handheld mode.[2]

Button remapping only works when using two Joy-Con or a Pro Controller. Button remapping is not available when playing with a singular Joy-Con.
