Merge with The Paddler

I think this has been a long time coming. I've seen various pages for minor characters get merged together, and I believe it's time we merge these two. I think the series has made it pretty apparent, at this point, that the Space Dancers and Paddlers are the same characters. Aside from having the exact same character design, there is also...

  • The fact that Space Gramps is said to be the chairman of the Rhythm League.
  • Supporting Cast 1 referring to the Space Dancers as "the table-tennis guys".
  • The official comic that directly states that they are the same character!

The only evidence contrary to this, that the wiki provides, is the Character Profiles 1 information on the Paddlers, which states they must play ping-pong to avoid becoming fatigued -- something that is seen in the comic that confirms they are the same characters, where the Space Dancers give a mediocre performance, Space Gramps recommends they should play ping-pong, and it ends up re-energizing them. I think there is enough conclusive evidence that the Space Dancers and Paddlers are the same characters that we can merge these pages. WayslideCool (talk) 12:26, September 6, 2020 (UTC)

After the discovery of the information that "in rare cases, some [Paddlers] become dancers" from Rhythm Tengoku Gold, there's enough reason to keep them separated. --Tox (talk) 11:09, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

Merge with The Paddler Returns!

Largely the same thing as iterated before, but now there's more evidence and I'll describe even more than Wayslide did:

  • Same design, obviously.
  • Supporting Cast 1 namedrops the Space Dancers as being "the table-tennis guys".
  • The Cosmo Dancers and Paddler from Cosmic Rhythm Rally are considered the same character by the wiki
  • The official comic pretty clearly confirms they're the same character
  • The same source for the Korean name of the Space Dancers mentions a ping-pong club that the Space Dancers frequent, which can only be a reference to Rhythm Rally

Literally the only contradicting evidence is "some [Paddlers] become dancers" line from Rhythm Tengoku Gold, which is one piece of evidence up against five. There's honestly no reason to keep them seperated anymore (not that there ever was). Ihavenoideaboyo (talk) 21:26, 18 August 2025 (CEST)
