We don't know why the artwork is higher quality is my issue. It may have been edited to increase its quality, or traced over like what Wikiamem used to do with the Megamix artworks. And the color correcting trick will still leave obvious marks behind. It's better to have an accurate and crappy render than an inaccurate, edited "good quality" render in my mind.
