In this game, you are slicing up demons who are spawning from a dark portal, in order to save the Lost Pinwheel of a little girl. This game has a sequel, called [[Samurai Slice 2]].

There are 2 moves you can perform. The Slice (A) And the combo, whirlwind slice (A+B) You use the normal slice for the red demons, but the green ones come out faster, so you have to use the whirlwind slice. The Red demons can also vary in size, but this is just a distraction. There is also a story, which pops up on to the screen mid-game. Again, it is just a distraction.
