There are two unused sequences for Air Batter which cannot be accessed through Sequence Test. Both of them use "Game Select 2" as the music. Both play similarly to the regular game, though they end with a slight speed up, during which the batter hits stars (which are not seen anywhere else) before finally hitting the rice ball. The second variation has the regular baseballs, and some camera zooms associated with them, on the offbeat, as well as a kick drum on the onbeats to help with the timing. The music fades in at first, and plays later than in the first variation. The ideas of offbeat baseballs and the speed up can be seen in Air Batter 2 in the final game, making it possible these are early versions of it. Interestingly, the music for Air Batter is internally labeled "s_shibafu1_bgm" while "Game Select 2" is "s_shibafu2_bgm".
