If things had continued as such, his mother would've sent him to music school. One day he grew tired of being on the beat all the time, as it was too easy for him. In order to find another way to enjoy music, he switched to the offbeat, and uses a metronome to practice. His mother is sad that he can't go to music school because of this, but he is happy with his life.
