In this game, the player controls a hand which tosses a coin into the air, and is expected to catch it when it comes down. The game keeps score by counting every time the player successfully catches the coin. The player must time when the coin will land by relying on the music. They can also use the timer in the first few rounds to aid the timing, with the coin coming down on 3.0. The background beat cuts more and more with each catch. After 5 rounds, the music slows down and the pattern repeats. The background music is composed of simple drums in ''[[Rhythm Heaven]]'', which is expanded into a proper track in ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]''.
