A secondary black ninja shoots arrows at him to practice with, where the playable ninja is guarding a wooden dummy repressenting the lord. The ninja is [[Tanaka]]'s great great great great grandfather. The night after protecting his lord from the enemy ninjas, he has a premonition of Tanaka, who also protects a [[Shison-tachi|woman]] in the same way, who is said to be the descendant of the [[Lord]]. He uses ninjutsu to ensure Tanaka finds a scroll, urging him to continue protecting her<ref>[[Rhythm Shiryo Shitsu#忍者の巻物 (Ninja Scroll)|Ninja Scroll]]</ref>. His final appearence is as a ghost, watching over [[Tanaka]].
