A “Perfect” is the highest rating you can achieve on a Rhythm Game in the Rhythm Heaven series.
Better Image NeededImageThe Perfect Campaign is a special feature in all games in the Rhythm Heaven Series.
Description
If the player plays really well in a Rhythm Game, they receive the Superb rank. The game is eligable for a Perfect Campaign afterwards. When a campaign starts, the player is notified which game is currently being hosted, and what they will receive for clearing it. If the player has a Superb on all Rhythm Games, Perfect Campaigns appear back to back until all of them are cleared.

Reaching a Perfect Campaign
In Rhythm Tengoku, Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Fever, the player must navigate to the game in the Game Select to start a campaign. The game's icon has text saying "Go for a Perfect!" around it.
To unlock a Perfect Campaign for a Rhythm Game, you must have to Superb the level first. Any other grade will lock the campaign until a Superb is achieved. After a level has been completed, the campaign will open in random intervals. In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the more medals a player gets, the more likely a perfect campaign will appear. At 50 medals, there will be a Perfect Campaign at all times.

Going For a Perfect
In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the player must go to Challenge Land where the campaign is being hosted at the Perfect Campaign Headquarters. The Challenge button on the bottom screen shows a #9E840D icon to indicate a campaign is going on.
When a campaign appears, the rhythm game’s icon will be edited to show that a player can start. When it begins, an icon appears at the top with text beside it saying, “Go For a Perfect!. When the player gets a hit, the icon will change as a visual cue that the game will continue. The icon is different in almost all of the games in the series.
Go For a Perfect!
When the player begins a campaign, an icon appears at the top of the screen with text beside it saying, "Go For a Perfect!". Every time the player's timing is successful, the icon animates to indicate this. If the player ever misses, the campaign ends. The player gets three tries on each campaign, and if they lose it, they'll have to wait for the campaign to start again. The icon is different in each game.

To actually achieve a ”Perfect,” a player must complete a Rhythm Game without getting a “Miss” (or a “Barely” in some cases.) If anyone receives one of these, the campaign will end. The player can retry the campaign three times, and if they miss on the third try, the campaign will be closed and the player will have to wait for it to reopen. The campaign can also be closed by playing different Rhythm Games, pausing and quitting the game, or retrying the stage.
In Rhythm Tengoku, Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Fever, missing while going for a Perfect ends the Perfect run, but the game itself continues as normal. The campaign stays for only three plays, regardless if they were on the game where the campaign is being hosted. This means the player can lose the chance for a Perfect without ever attempting it.

Rewards
In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, missing while going for a Perfect ends the Perfect run, and the game stops. The player gets three tries on each campaign, but playing games normally does not affect progress on a Perfect Campaign.
After a “Perfect” is obtained, the game’s icon will be edited to show proof that it has been completed. The Rhythm Game will also be given either a music track to listen to or a note to read in the Cafe. In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the player is not given any of those, but is instead given a Flow Ball.

Trivia
If the player manages to finish a Rhythm Game without missing once during the Perfect Campaign, they receive the Perfect rank, and a gift. The next time they visit the Café, Barista praises them for their achievement.
* Rhythm Tengoku is the only game where hitting rhythm at non-beat counts as miss, even when hitting all the beats perfectly.
Gift
** For example, in Spaceball, besides when the player misses swinging the ball at the right timing, if the player swings the baseball bat at anytime when the ball is not present, even when the player perfectly swings at all the balls on each perfect rhythm, then it counts as a miss.

* In Megamix, some minor changes were made.
A Gift is received for getting a Perfect on a Rhythm Game.
**Needing to navigate to a rhythm based mini-game with perfect attempt mode is not necessary.
**The Perfect Campaign is located right next to Challenges Entrance.
**If failed, besides losing an attempt, instead of manually needing to exit out the rhythm game to try again or wait till the end of mini-game, the computer automatically does it and says "You Missed...", before losing an attempt.

Trivia
|- align="center"
*In Rhythm Tengoku, uneccesary inputs during a Perfect Campaign are counted as a miss, and end the Perfect run. This is not the case in later games, though some Rhythm Games count uneccesary inputs as a miss in general.
|ES Spanish
*The Perfect Campaign does not appear in the arcade version of Rhythm Tengoku. Instead, Perfects are a regularly obtainable rank. If the player plays perfectly, halfway through the game the "Go for a Perfect!" icon appears on the bottom of the screen.
|Perfecto
*In Rhythm Heaven, slightly mistiming an input in Shoot-'Em-Up, Frog Hop and Lockstep (and their appearances in Remixes and arrange versions), while still regardess as a miss, does not end the Perfect Campaign. This exception is not present in any other game.
