The playable character, a [[Boy (Double Date Character)|boy]] (Kouhai in Japanese), is on a date with [[Boy's crush|his crush]] (Senpai in Japanese). The boy must kick away various sports balls that bounce toward them to protect a [[Weasel Couple|weasel couple]]. A sequel, [[Double Date 2]], is unlocked later in the game.
