The Munchy Monk is first seen training deep in the mountains, which which involves eating dumplings all day, as well as caring for a baby in ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]''. At one point, the monk was spotted by a bear, who was ready to eat him, but left him alone after witnessing the monk eat a dozen dumplings at once. He was spotted in the mountains by a circus ringmaster who hired him as a clown, but was ironically fired by Carny Barker for eating on the job. The monk's incredible eating abilities earned him the title of "[[Reading Material (Rhythm_Heaven)#Eyewitness Accounts|Dumpling Man]]", as well as news coverage of any sightings of him. At an unknown point, the Munchy Monk was seen performing his act as a proper clown at a carnival.
