The most common one that appears is the soccer ball, which bounces once. Basketballs can also appear, which skid once and then bounce. This changes the rhythm and requires the boy to kick slightly quicker. The last ball appears the least frequently; the American football. It bounces three times before it reaches the boy. It moves at a slower rhythm than the others.

|just=The boy kicks the ball away, seemingly knocking it into a nearby tree, causing leaves to fall. The weasels smile and cheer him on. When kicking away Footballs, the weasels jump for joy, surprising the girl a bit. The Football is seen in the background, where one of several characters catches or hits the ball.
Timing Notes
|miss=The boy attempts to kick the ball but cringes in pain as if he pulled his leg muscle. A "doink" sound is heard. The weasels look back in surprise, and the ball falls to the side.
*Hit: A kick sound is heard. The weasels smile and cheer the boy. For American footballs and off-beat soccer balls, the weasels jump for joy, surprising the girl a bit.
|through=The girl gives a worried look as the weasels squeak and duck under the hole to avoid the missed ball. A missed American football hits the orange weasel in the face, temporarily bruising it. Either way, the weasels give a dissapointed look.}}

Trivia
Trivia
*The weasel couple appears later in Rhythm Heaven Fever during the game Love Rap, sitting on the couch at the end of the game.
*This game takes place in the daytime during the practice and Remix 10.
*In Cheer Readers, the boy who appears in the epilogue screens resembles the boy from this game.
*The butterflies on the prologue can be seen near the end of the game, passing by the player. Missing a ball while they're on screen causes them to fly away.
* The Japanese name uses a popular "pun" that the letter W means "double".
*The footballs are referred to as American footballs in Beat the Beat: Rhythm Paradise to differentiate them from soccer balls, which are known as footballs in Europe, but oddly this distinction isn't retained in Rhythm Paradise Megamix.
* In Megamix, there is more grass added near the hole where the weasels sit on.
*The Weasel Couple reappears later in Love Rap, sitting on the couch at the end of the game. In Cheer Readers, the boy reappears in the epilogue.
* According to debug notes found in the files of Rhythm Heaven Megamix, this game alongside Fork Lifter, Flock Step, Cheer Readers, Board Meeting and Packing Pests would have its story mode variant added in that game but got cut for unknown reasons.
*In Rhythm Heaven Megamix, the clovers in front of the Weasel Couple are not effected by the sunset effect, making them appear brighter than usual. The dog which can be seen catching one of the Footballs is also unusually stretched after catching it.
* The butterflies from the title card can be seen in this game passing by the player. In order to see them, you must kick all balls correctly near the end of the game. If you miss one or two balls, however, the butterflies will fly away. They also appear in its sequel.
