Dog Ninja! (犬忍者?, Inu Ninja) is a skilled ninja dog who slices vegetables, bones, tires, and frying pans in Dog Ninja from Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Megamix. He forms an exceptional duo with Mister Eagle (タカさん?, Taka-san), fighting enemies together[1].
Dog Ninja is a bipedal dog characterized by his yellow fur and brown snout. He wears a blue shirt, blue boots, white pants, a silver helmet, and silver gloves. He wields two katanas. Mister Eagle is simply an eagle with a red scarf on his neck.
Story
Dog Ninja! is one of few dogs who chose the way of the ninja, as he believes he must. Although he is skilled in the arts, there is little demand for ninja work. In need of money, he picked up a part-time job cutting vegetables at a restaurant[2]. During this job, Mister Eagle flies in with a sign saying "Cut everything!". He also accepts cutting cast-iron skillets, tires and other objects, as long as he gets paid for it. He's trying to save up money to buy shuriken. He finds his current job a little bland and not well paid and may look for a new one[3]. He can also be seen in the audience during the Battle of the Bands.
One day, the mighty ninja beagle fought high on the mighty eagle, protecting his lord most regal, though he feels it may have been illegal. He was then befouled by a seagull, and prays there is no sequel[4]. In another incident, the dog ended up having to go to the hospital due to an injury. Although the treatment was expensive, he notes the nurse's hand was warm[5]. Mister Eagle has otherwise been seen helping The Wandering Samurai fight Demons high in the sky as well.
