The Kitties[2] (ネコたちが?, Neko-tachi) are three orange cats in the Rhythm Game Kitties! in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Two out of three cats are replaced by the Backup Mice during their performance, and sometimes may have an opportunity to eat a Tasty Fish (ネコに人気の魚?, Neko ni ninki no sakana) given by the Sakana o Kureru Hito (魚をくれる人?, Fishgiver).
Story
The Kitties perform a clapping routine. They are rewarded with Tasty Fish if they clap well, though as only one fish is provided at a time, they have to be quick[3]. The idea is that it creates a little competition between the cats[4]. During their performance, two of the kitties are swapped out for Backup Mice, who also give commentary on their performance.

- The Kitties' performance is rated by different characters across each language. In the English, Italian and Spanish versions, this is done by the Backup Mice. In all other languages, it is the person giving the fish.
