Marshal (Japanese: マッシュ Marsh), or Matt in the PAL region, is one of the first three characters to appear in Rhythm Heaven Fever. His main role is greeting the player at the beginning of the game and explaining the rules of the game. His design is very similar to Play-Yan from Night Walk and The Chorus Kids from Glee Club, suggesting that they may be a part of the same race.
Overview

He and Miss Ribbon will also explain some information about the game such as the controls and the player's rhythm test results.
