Physical Appearance

The boy wears a black shirt over a white undershirt, along with long black pants and white shoes. He appears to wear a boy's Japanese school clothes.

Story

In My Feelings (written from his perspective), he explains that he's finally worked up the courage to try and play the guitar. Once he does, he realizes that his crush works at the local music shop. He couldn't purchase a guitar, but the girl let him practice with her while he saves up his allowance.

After six months of saving up, he finally purchases a guitar and continues practicing. He starts his own band, and even wrote a song for the girl. He can't bring himself to sing it for her, but decided to invite her to his band's first live show.

In Double Date, he plans to take her on a date after school in order to invite her, where he meets a male weasel. The weasel also plans to take his girlfriend on a date, and asks him to kick away any sports balls that fly toward them. After school, the boy and his crush sit on a bench. However, he is still too nervous to give her a ticket to his show. Before he can, the aforementioned sports balls begin flying toward them. As he kicks them away, he starts to calm down and continues to "kick his feelings away".

This may be the explanation why a guitar outline appears in the Try Again and OK epilogues of Double Date.

In Double Date 2, the couple goes to a farm on another date, where he suffers the same problems with more sports balls coming toward them.

Trivia

  • The boy is referred to as kōhai in Japanese, indicating that he is an underclassman of his crush.
  • The boy's European name Romeo, and his crush's name being Julia, is a reference to William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
  • Despite having the same design in Rhythm Heaven Megamix that he did in Rhythm Heaven Fever, the Rhythm Game artwork changes his eyes to be black dots with no white behind them, similar to human designs from Rhythm Tengoku and Rhythm Heaven.
    • Because Double Date is a shop game, this can only be seen in Challenge Train courses that feature it.
