Monkey (Tap Trial 2)
The SALU (Offbeat Monkey) is a purple monkey with white skin, two yellow earrings, black sunglasses and red tie on his torso who appeared in the minigame Turbo Tap Trial in Rhythm Tengoku replacing the normal monkeys.

Trivia
- SALU can sometimes be mistaken for Offbeat Monkey from Monkey Watch, because they have the same appearance but different colors.
- SALU also appeared in Concert Hall with Drum Samurai playing on a saxophone.
- SALU appeared in Tambourine segment in Remix 2, replacing a Rhythm Monkey. He also appeared in the Rhythm Heaven Fever cast along with a monkey.
- In Tengoku, the SALUs are a little taller, but in the Best+, they are noticeably smaller just like the monkeys from Tap Trial and Hole in One.
