Kappa DJ (かっぱDJ?, Kappa DJ) is the 7th Rhythm Toy in Rhythm Heaven. It is unlocked with 24 Medals.
Gameplay
The player is presented with a kappa in a recording studio, who has a record playing music on its head. The music in question is a small looped sample of DJ School's theme. On the touch screen, there are 8 buttons, which cause the kappa to do various motions and play samples of music or voice clips from DJ School. Below them is a spinning record representing the one on the kappa's head, which the player can mess around with in a manner similar to DJ School.
Controls
- Tap: Stop the record and silence the music/Press a button to play its sample
- Flick: Resume music with a distortion noise
- Slide: Play scratching noises

- File:Button 2.png Play a sample from DJ School's theme. The kappa swings its hands back and forth.
- File:Button 3.png Play a sample from DJ School's theme. The kappa puts its right arm in the air and swirls it around.
- File:Button 4.png Play a sample from DJ School's theme. The kappa fans its hands towards each other.
- File:Button 5.png Play a voice clip from DJ School. The kappa says "Break" as it points to the right.
- File:Button 6.png Play a voice clip from DJ School. The kappa says "C'mon!" as it makes a hugging motion.
- File:Button 7.png Play a voice clip from DJ School. The kappa says "Ooh!" as it points upwards with its right hand.
- File:Button 8.png Play a voice clip from DJ School. The kappa says "Scratch-o" as it moves its head from side to side.
