First Contact |
Mission control, we encountered a Martian! I'm going to attempt to translate what it says. |
Rhythm Heaven Megamix |
First Contact (通訳者 Interpreter) is the 4th Rhythm Game of Citrus Land (13th overall) in Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
The long version, Second Contact, appears in Citrus Tower.
Gameplay
In this game, the player controls Translator Tom, whose mission is to translate what the Martian is saying. This is done by hitting the button in the same way that the Martian shows, as the alien will say something in a beat, and you must match said beat to translate him properly.
Dialog
Good dialog
People of Earth,
how do you do?
I live on Mars.
…Right?
We're glad you made it.
You want to meet
my leader?
...Gotcha. (skill star here)
Last time...
Earthlings visited...
You left...
behind PORK RICE BOWLS!!
Mars will never...
be the same.
Kidding!
Don't be a stranger!
...Gotcha.
Bad dialog
Hey, carbon blobs!
You are weird looking!
I am your ruler now.
Moohoohaha!
Hoping for...
mercy?
Not a chance.
Bow, worms!
Now I am...
hungry!
Are you done?
Hurry up and leave!
I care not for...
your species.
But I hunger.
So hungry.
Begone, insects!
Controls
- Ⓐ or ✚/Tap: Translate
Timing Display
- Perfect!/Ace!: A proper translation of the Martian's words appear. The Martian nods.
- Early!/Late!: Translator Tom will translate the Martian's words in a high-pitched voice.
- Miss...: A question-mark is displayed over the failed section and fails to translate the rest of the sentence. If it is a fail from the first word then a different sentence will pop up in blue, this text says something that will make the Martian look bad. The Martian then shakes their head.
