Space-Rabbits (月ウサギ?, Tsuki Usagi), also known as Alien Bunnies (宇宙ウサギ?, Uchū Usagi) and Space Hares, are a recurring alien species in the WarioWare Series and have made several appearances in the Rhythm Heaven Series. They appear to have come from the moon.

Story

The Space-Rabbits seem to know the Sarge, but the details are kept top secret[1]. He gives them orders during Remix 7 and Remix 8 in Rhythm Tengoku.

They later make cameos, namely on the moon in the background of the Shoot-'Em-Up sections in Remix 2 and in the epilogue of Remix 9 in Rhythm Heaven.

The Space-Rabbits then appear in Rhythm Heaven Fever and Rhythm Heaven Megamix in the background during Working Dough 2 where they can be seen falling down behind the large female Dough Person, with glowing heads. They later fly off with her at the end. They give feedback on the player's performance and can also be seen in the Epilogue.

Trivia

  • The rabbit and the Space-Rabbits are both based on the Moon rabbit in East Asian folklore. Despite both living on the moon, they were never seen interacting in the Rhythm Heaven Series.
