The Barista is a character that works at the Cafe. Their main role in every game of the series is to help the player skip a game they are stuck upon difficulty. The Barista will always be in the Cafe to also alert whenever a chance for obtaining a perfect has come up, or to just speak to for hints.
The Barista's Identity
It is unclear if the Barista is the same character that appears in the Cafe in every game. In Rhythm Heaven, when the Barista wants to talk, a dog that appears many times in the games will appear on the Cafe icon in the cup. Furthermore, the Barista is identified as the white dog at the ending credits of Rhythm Heaven Fever. However, he does not appear in the Cafe in Rhythm Tengoku. Instead, a human woman is seen working behind the counter. In the Rhythm Heaven ending credits, the white dog is just referred to as "Dog" unlike the Rhythm Heaven Fever ending credits.
