The Taiko Rally Squad (ドンドコ応援団?, Dondoko Ōen-dan) is a group of two drummers and six Rally Girls (ドンドコガールズ?, Dondoko Girls) who appear in Drummer Duel in Rhythm Heaven.
Story
The group consists of the red team and the blue team, who each have one drummer and three cheerleaders. The drummers compete in a drummer duel to see who has the better rhythm, meanwhile the girls dance beneath them. The girls liven up the Taiko Rallies, making the guys more worked up over their performance when they see them.
There are three lessons the drummers must learn:
Lesson 1 To play the DON DON DON DON part, you must be strong of heart! Every beat requires your full commitment! |
Lesson 2 To play the DON DOKO DOKO DON part, you must be light and free! Keep control, and put a sharp snap to those sticks! |
Lesson 3 The DOKO DOKO DON part is a trap laid for anyone whose heart isn't committed to taiko. You must maintain focus to the very end if you have any hopes of victory! |
