The player now have to keep up with their partner with a new control, the R Button on their Nintendo DS which is used to make the guitar's sound more high-pitched by holding them while flicking on the touch screen. The player needs to be precise about how long they should hold down the R Button and when to release them. Even though the R Button are only used three times in this minigame, it dramatically adds up the hardness, especially if the player's going for a perfect.
