Appears in
Pitcher (ピッチャー?, Pitchā) and Slugger (バッター?, Batter) are characters who appear with Monkey Umpire in Exhibition Match in Rhythm Heaven Fever and Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
Story
Pitcher and Slugger participate in a friendly Exhibition Match, in which Pitcher would throw a baseball behind a curtain, which Slugger would have to hit as it passes over, all to impress the audience. After several pitches, it is revealed that a Monkey Umpire was catching the baseballs behind the curtain, and tossing them over. Only the best batters get to appear in these matches, but Slugger got there by being a "big, scary guy" that no one wanted to refuse[1]. Many players only want to participate so they can meet Pitcher[2].
Pitcher and Slugger reappear in the prehistoric-themed Remix 5, in which they are dressed in time-appropriate clothing, playing for an audience of Huebirds. Pitcher also appears in Rhythm Tengoku The Best Plus Comic 01同窓会 (Reunion), where she joins the reunion at the Café.

Trivia
- Slugger has been sarcastically referred to as "Mr. Big Batting Hero"[3].
- It is unclear if the character in the Lush Remix version of Spaceball is meant to be the Air Batter dressed as the Pitcher, or if it is the Pitcher herself.
