Rockers (characters): Difference between revisions
m (I hate that we've apparently agreed this clearly male character is "unknown". He even looks like Soshi kinda which was pointed out a few times before. So why are we labeling him "unknown"? What makes him look so apparently femenine that we need to do this?) |

The Rockers (ロッカーズ?, Rokkāzu) consist of the popular guitarist J.J. Rocker (ロッカー先生?, Rokkā sensei) and his student (弟子くん?, deshi-kun). Throughout the game, J.J. Rocker will guide the player (playing as the student) on how to play the guitar by giving them a rhythm to follow.
Backstory
Guitar Monthly wrote an article about J.J. Rocker, who was formerly known as "king of headbanging". His headbanging resulted in a serious injury, which took him out of the touring circuit for years. It was a disappointment for many, as he was known as rocking legend. Later, he teams up with a student to create a rocking guitar duo. J.J. Rocker gives his student Guitar Lessons, where they rock to other songs from the game. They also participate in the Battle of the Bands.
In the comic DJ Going to Tokyo Part 1: What time is it live?, the soon-to-be student of DJ Yellow is wandering around town, and suddenly gets knocked away by J.J. Rocker. In DJ Going to Tokyo Part 2: Golden Experience, the student guitarist is seen playing live at Live House OGU.
Sadly, J.J. Rocker died in the hospital due to his neck injuries. His student's last wish was to teach him "to juju on that beat".
