The Lord (トノ^?, Tono) is a character in Ninja Bodyguard in Rhythm Tengoku and Rhythm Heaven Megamix. The Ninja protects him from the other Ninjas's arrows. He is Tanaka's girlfriend's great great great great grandfather.

Backstory

The black ninja is devoted to protecting his lord at all costs, even if the lord goes out of his way to walk outside, putting himself in danger. The lord is said to be Tanaka's girlfriend's great great great great grandfather. The night after protecting his lord from the enemy ninjas, the black ninja has a premonition of the woman being protected by Tanaka in the same way. The black ninja uses ninjutsu to ensure Tanaka finds a scroll, urging him to continue protecting her. The lord's final appearence is as a ghost, berating Tanaka if he fails.
