Looks like the chorus kids had taken their singing career to a featureless while plain of theater. Try to keep singing with them.

You still have to imitate the other two in rhythm by pressing and holding A button. But there is a new one that you will have to wait along with the other two. When you hear the conductor say, "Together now!" while the trio are crouching down, quickly release A button to sing loudly at a screaming-like pitch with the right timing.
