Voice: UnknownThe Space Kicker (リフティングマン?, Lifting Man), also known as knee-ball guy (リフティングマン?, Lifting Man), is part of a group of five purple humanoids that appear in Space Soccer in Rhythm Heaven. They are led by Cosmic Coach (コーチ?, Coach), who judges their performance.
The Space Kickers are tall, light purple humanoids with dark purple feet, cone-shaped ears and white hands. Similar to the Space Dancers, they have a square white face, a bracket-like smile, round eyes, and a big nose.
Story
A space kicker's job is to keep a ball afloat as they float in space. One such kicker wrote An Essay on Keepy-Upsy regarding their first experience of being launched into space, which they thought to be weird at first, but got used to later. They mention their appreciation for their teammates as well, and that they're proud of being born a space kicker, thanking their mom in return.
In Remix 6, the Space Kickers appear green, wearing afros similar to the ones The Clappy Trio wear. In Space Soccer 2, they appear orange, wearing cowboy hats and bandanas, standing on wooden horses. In Remix 9, they appear lime-green with an antenna on their heads.
A space kicker can be seen in the audience in Battle of the Bands. A pair of space kickers can also be seen dancing at a club in Rhythm Tengoku Gold Comic 09 にぎやかでおだやかな夜の巻き (A lively and peaceful night by Maki).

Trivia
- In Rhythm Tengoku Gold and Rhythm World, the Space Kicker's voice clips are recycled from the scrapped tapping rhythm game.
- The voice clips from the aforementioned scrapped game also have the same voice as the female announcer in the Japanese version of the Rhythm Heaven games, starting with Rhythm Tengoku Gold. This means that the Space Kicker and the female announcer share the same voice.
- During Practice, a second Space Kicker appears who gives the player instructions. During the second half of the Practice section, this instructor uses the same voice clips as the player's Space Kicker, but pitched down. In all other instances of other Space Kickers appearing in the background, only the player's Space Kicker's voice clips and sound effects can be heard.
