| The Martian is a green octopus- or jellyfish-like creature with five tentacles. As with similar aliens seen in Japanese media, its design resembles those of the aliens from the novel ''The War of the Worlds''.

| The Martian is almost always seen with a big smile on its face, and appears to be very friendly, as it is friends with both [[Translator Tom]] and [[Farmer Bob]] as seen in the OK and Superb epilogue screens. Its message to Earth is also very friendly in tone.
