To get a medal the player must get at least a superb rank on one of the main 50 games. A silver frame will be put around the selection of the rhythm game once superbed. These medals can be collected in time to unlock Subgames and Rhythm Toys in the Medals Corner. In Rhythm Heaven for the DS you can also use them to unlock Guitar lessons.
In Rhythm Heaven Fever
Getting a perfect will earn the player two medals instead of one.
