Rhythm Toys
Rhythm Toys are rhythm games with no particular goal. They can be unlocked by earning medals. You can just play around with them if you are bored or just want to play around with the rhythm.
Rhythm Tengoku
1. Cat Machine
4. Rap Machine
Rhythm Heaven
1. Business Card (requires 1 medal)
In this game you play as a businessman who is sliding around a business card inside a small box. But the card is not as long as the box, so you can slide it around inside of the box. If you move it like you're drawing a circle, a little song will start to play and the businessman will smile.
2. Phone (requires 4 medals)
This one's very easy, all you have to do is play around with a phone. But you can also dial certain phone numbers. Expirement with them yourself.
3. Slot Monster (requires 7 medals)
Pull down the slot-machine monster's lever, and stop his spinning eyes to the beat. Do it correctly and you will earn some coins!
4. Octopus Machine (requires 11 medals)
Also known as "Octo-Pops." Tap to inflate your octopus, release to turn him back to normal, and flick to pop the cork out of his mouth. Do this in time with the other octopi. It starts off simple, but it gets faster and faster!
5. Beat Machine (requires 14 medals)
You play as a tiny drummer, and you have to tap lightly to start drumming and flick to hit the cymbals. If you do this long enough, the crowd will start to get excited and a tiny bass player will join you.
6. Beat Bag (requires 19 medals)
A game where you can make your own beats (and punch a punching bag). The only problem is that it's kind of picky with which beats you choose. That's only my opinion, though.
7. Kappa DJ (requires 24 medals)
This one is like DJ School, except it's not an actual game. Just play around with the sound effects and record scratches.
Rhythm Heaven Fever
1. Toy Car (requires 1 medal)
Just like the description says, "Pull back. Let go. What could be simpler?" Try to match up your car with the sillhoutte up ahead.
2. Police Call (requires 7 medals)
The only rhythm toy in Rhythm Heaven Fever that uses motion control. Type in certain code-words, such as "Seesaw" or "birds" to receive certain calls.
3. Hi-Hat (requires 14 medals)
A Hi-Hat is a weird instrument where various spings will be bouncing on top of a cymbol. Hold down A and B to make them all bounce, and release so the last one, which is slightly bigger than the other springs, can bounce. Do this for long enough and a song will start to play.
4. Rhythm Fighter (21 medals)
A two-player fighting game.
Trivia
- The song used in Beat Machine is also the song from the endless game, "Tunnel."
- The songs from Hi-Hat are from Blue Birds, Octopus Machine, and the Rhythm Heaven Fever title screen.
- Both Rhythm Heaven and Rhythm Heaven Fever have phone-related games.
