Rhythm Heaven Groove (リズム天国てんごく ミラクルスターズ[3]?, Rhythm Tengoku: Miracle Stars; lit. 'Rhythm Heaven: Miracle Stars'), also known as Rhythm Paradise Groove[4] in Europe, Rhythm Cheonguk: Miracle Stars (리듬 천국 미라클 스타즈[5]?; lit. 'Rhythm Heaven Miracle Stars') in South Korea and Jiézòu Tiānguó: Qíjì Zhī Xīng (節奏天國 奇蹟之星[6][7]?; lit. 'Rhythm Heaven: Miracle Stars') in Taiwan and Hong Kong, is the upcoming long-awaited fifth entry in the Rhythm Heaven series (fourth outside of Japan). It is set to release on the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2026[1].

Gameplay

The game itself, as described in the reveal trailer, "doesn't have a big, epic story...but what is does have is lots of funny little Rhythm Games!" Much like the series' previous entries. The button is used in the first game shown as a way for the player character to jump over rings, and is presumably used to control the other Rhythm Games as well.

Trivia

  • This is the first Rhythm Heaven game to:
    • Receive an initial release on an HD console.
    • Feature voice acted dialogue, along with being dubbed in languages besides Japanese, English, and Korean since Rhythm Heaven.
      • Notably, the Portugese trailer for Rhythm Paradise Groove does not feature a unique dub, instead recycling the English dub[8]. It does, however contain Portuguese subtitles.
    • Receive an official Dutch[9], Portuguese[8] and Chinese (both Traditional[6][7] and Simplified[10][2]) localization.
    • Be named Rhythm Cheonguk (리듬 천국?; lit. 'Rhythm Heaven') in South Korea. The series was originally known as Rhythm Sesang (리듬 세상?; lit. 'Rhythm World'), which was mainly due to trademark complications[11].
    • Have a simultaneous worldwide release year, being 2026.
  • The icon for prompting the player to advance the text is an icon of a note with a face, somewhat resembling the Note from Rhythm Heaven. In previous titles, this was an or stylus icon depending on the input method.
  • Rhythm Heaven Groove's release is the longest gap between game releases in the series' history, releasing roughly 11 years after Rhythm Heaven Megamix.
