Rhythm Heaven (series): Difference between revisions

In an interview with Eurogamer on August 24, 2017, series co-producer [[niwanetwork:Yoshio Sakamoto|Yoshio Sakamoto]] confirmed that the series is not over, and the possibility for a new entry is always open<ref>"We generally don't comment on those kind of rumours, but I don't remember us ever saying it was over. Generally speaking, if there's an oppurtunity, a motivation, a need, we consider all opportunities and leave the door open. That's all I can say. (...) In the following years, series producer [[generasia:Tsunku|Tsunku♂]] has also expressed interest in developing a new game. On May 8, 2019, he retweeted an article about the game, asking fans what they think is revolutionary about the series{{ref needed}}. Later on April 9, 2020, he replied to a post regarding his interest in continuing the series, expressing ideas for what features a title on [[niwanetwork:Nintendo Switch|Nintendo Switch]] could have<ref>[https://twitter.com/tsunkuboy/status/1248327915223175169?s=20 つんく♂ on Twitter]</ref>. On July 31, 2020, he tweeted in celebration of the fifth anniversary of ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]'', reaffirming a desire for a Switch title<ref>[https://twitter.com/tsunkuboy/status/1289175158075174918?s=20 つんく♂ on Twitter]</ref>, and on August 3, 2021, he posted about the 15th anniversary of the series, expressing his desire to make a new game<ref>[https://twitter.com/tsunkuboy/status/1422436600131186689?s=20 つんく♂ on Twitter]</ref>. On June 16, 2022, he retweeted a fan request for a new title on Switch<ref>[https://twitter.com/tsunkuboy/status/1537445315678466055?s=20 つんく♂ on Twitter]</ref>.
