The Goat: Difference between revisions

At some point in the story, the [[Barista]] at the [[Café]] buys a goat, hoping to be able to provide fresh milk for the coffee. She has not produced any milk however, despite eating constantly. After the player and [[Tibby]] clear [[The Second Gate]], the [[Barista]] asks them to help raise the goat, although he is not confident it would lead to her producing milk. She stays at the [[Stable]] and can be fed with turnips<ref name="cafe">"Hello there! Sorry, but I have a small favor to ask. Where to start...? So I was thinking that it'd be nice to have fresh milk for the coffee here, right? ...And, long story short, there's a goat living here now. Yes. A {{color|#E40000|goat}}. So far, though, she hasn't produced any milk, even though she's always eating. Right. The favor I was going to ask: Will you help me raise my {{color|#E40000|goat}}? I don't know if she'll ever actually produce milk, but... I feel like feeding her can only lead to good things. So, what do you think? It won't take much of your time. And it's fun to feed her. After the player and [[Tibby]] clear [[Lush Tower]], the [[Barista]] informs them of his accidental discovery that the goat can be fed with [[Coins]] as well<ref>"Hello there! Oh, I remember what I was going to tell you! It's about our goat. Besides the turnips she's always eaten... it turns out she'll also eat coins. Don't ask how I found this out. The more the player feeds the goat, the more she levels up. At certain levels, she lays a golden egg, containing a [[Mascot]] inside<ref>"The goat has something... A golden egg! You got a mascot!" ~ Dialogue in the [[Stable]], ''[[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]]''</ref>. When [[Eglantine]] visits the [[Café]], she may compliment the player for raising the goat, as she believes it to be a difficult task<ref>"Are you the one who's been raising that goat over there? That's nice of you. Raising goats isn't easy. Raising my sweet little birdies is MUCH easier. If they misbehave, I just quietly stare at them. They just stop and cower where they are!
