==Story==

The Bandleader can sing and knows how to play the saxophone. The Rhythm Item for [[Frog Hop]] in [[Rhythm Heaven Megamix]], a microphone, says that dancing, singing, and playing instruments is how the frog family makes its money. [[Jumpin' Jazz]]'s rhythm item, a saxophone, implies that the Bandleader dropped his sax in a pond once.

 

The most important detail about him, however, is that he actually introduces the player to [[Rhythm Heaven]], meaning he is the first character the player will meet in a playthrough upon creating a save file. He tells the player about flicking and congratulates them for beating Remix 6 much later in the game.

Besides greeting the player at the beginning of [[Rhythm Heaven]], the Bandleader's vocals are a nice touch to [[Frog Hop]]. He sings the song [[Young Love Rock 'n' Roll]] and adds a nice sense of rhythm to the song to assist the player. He also plays the saxophone in [[Jumpin' Jazz]] to the vocals of the song.
